The current iteration of the Western Digital logo is based on a concept I created which won a company-wide design competition. The winning design was passed on to an external design agency for further refinement and finalization.

The agency changed the direction of the gradients an added a teal color, to really make it pop.

The blue color palette was drawn from previous Western Digital logos, representing a merger of legacy and future direction, as well as a morning skysignifying a new day for the brand. See below for the original winning design that the final logo was inspired by.

As a primary contributor to the development of the corporate intranet brand center, designed the homepage and various branded assets, as well as defining the global UI changes to ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability across teams worldwide.

Created banners for the corporate employee stores, developing branded logos that drew inspiration from Apples Liquid Glass UI to give them a modern, glossy, and tactile aesthetic.

Using prepress methodologies, I prepared press-ready files, performed quality assurance checks for the design team, and collaborated closely with vendors to guarantee accurate and refined results that aligned to the brand's criteria.
